FAQ
-
Do you accept insurance?
No, Freeform Coaching does not accept insurance, and coaching is not typically covered by insurance.
-
How do I book a session?
To book a session, purchase a single session or package here. Once your order has been confirmed, you will be sent an email with a link which will allow you to set up the session on your own. I highly recommend clients book a free consultation prior to purchasing a session, especially if you are new to non-monogamy or the swinging lifestyle.
-
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
There is a 48 hour cancellation period, meaning clients must cancel or reschedule a minimum of 48 hours prior to session. If a session is cancelled less than 48 hours prior, the session can no longer be used and you will not be refunded. If you have purchased a package, that session will be marked as used.
-
Do you offer sliding-scale rates?
Freeform Coaching offers income-based assistance for services, in addition to providing discounts for sex workers, regardless of income.
-
Do you offer coaching for polycules or triads/"throuples"?
Yes, I offer coaching for all relationship structures. If more than 2 people are engaging in coaching, there is an $10 fee for each additional person.
-
Do you offer coaching to individuals or solo poly people?
Yes! Set up a free consultation to learn more about individual coaching sessions, and discount offers for individuals.
-
What is a typical coaching session like?
This might change depending on what you are coming to coaching for.
For general coaching, a session would include a check-in on goals set from the previous session. We would then problem solve through any unexpected roadblocks that have gotten in the way of following through with homework or goals and process these together. Then, we might reflect on any new experiences you experimented with between sessions and any unexpected emotions that came up. Our session will end with me guiding you through creating new relationship agreements or goals together.
Those who are new to ENM would first utilize the “Freeform Foundations” course. You can see the goals and objectives for each session here.

What is your approach to coaching?
My approach to coaching is influenced by my clinical training and experience, in addition to my outlook on relationships as a whole.
I embrace the fluidity, flexibility and creativity of relationships and sexuality. Rather than telling you how to do things, I guide you in co-creating relationships that feel authentic and fulfilling for all parties involved.
I might integrate techniques that come from my therapy background, including strengths based goal setting, emotion focused, mindfulness and somatic techniques, communication skills training, and relationship building concepts from the Gottman Method. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning I will take trauma histories in account and maintain awareness of how this may impact our work, and I believe in the importance of clients having choice and power in the direction of coaching. (However, if untreated trauma or other mental illness gets in the way of our work, I might pause sessions and recommend the persons attend therapy before resuming.)

Do you offer therapy?
Freeform Coaching does not offer therapy, but I am happy to provide referrals if necessary. (However, if untreated trauma or other mental illness gets in the way of our work, I might pause sessions and recommend the persons attend therapy before resuming.)
